[Lucifer holds up one of the little tea cups, examining it and its paint job critically. He has more paint on his hands and arms than the entire tea set has combined.]
I still can't tell if this is supposed to be a turtle or a... what, an elephant? Is that a trunk?
[The world may never know. He sets it down carefully with the other items.]
Now what, Kisuke? Wait for him to find them?
[At least Lucifer has warmed up a bit through this little activity.]

I suppose Aizen-san would just burn it without looking at it first...

[He gives Urahara an innocent sort of smile]
But we could always burn him in effigy.

[He gives the description easily, and not without a reason behind it. There's a fifty-fifty chance that Lucifer will like him when he actually does arrive, but hey.]
Ah, but I do rather like fire~
no subject
Well, you know how strict my upbringing was. I just can't handle blasphemy. Draw us a picture of him. We'll burn him in the fireplace.
Ah, and Jyuushirou, how are you at wrapping?
no subject
I'm decent enough, I think.
no subject
Which is why he's handing the wrapping paper over and settling down to draw Aizen, tongue caught between his teeth as he does so.]
Here~!
[They are not very flattering pictures.]

[Lucifer gives Urahara a sidelong smirk, and then walks over to start the fire.]
/jumps in.
She smiles wrily at the pictures.]
No, he usually does not, Lucifer-san. But then again, he knows how to look extremely charming when he wants to.
... How long do we have to wait for these to dry?
no subject
I can't imagine it would be too long. Maybe if we enlisted the help of Urahara-san's fan...
[Have a smirk, Urahara. And put that wretched thing to good use.]

[Lucifer has been remarkably helpful and hands on this whole time. It had taken him a while to decide he wanted to accept the invitation, but now that he has he's been nothing but courteous.
Besides, it's nice to be able to use his 'talents' for tiny things. Like drying the air around the cup so the paint dries in a matter of seconds. He tilts his head, examining the decoration, and clucks his tongue.]
I think we have a winner, Retsu.

Away, bad juju, away with you~

Why, thank you, Lucifer-san. But for a gift, the intentions of the person giving are more important than the perfection of the gift itself, you know that.
[Or maybe not. In which case, well, she's telling you now.]
no subject
[Convincing an angel that perfection isn't key isn't just tricky, it's the work of a lifetime.]
The pieces are all dry; you guys start wrapping, I'll go get him up.
no subject
Hm, all right. Urahara-san, where is this paper you spoke of?

It's time for tea~

Come on! Christmas is starting! Downstairs, now!

[Staggering off the bed. There must be a fire?]

He still doesn't quite know what the heck is going on.]

Break-san~! Sit, sit, Lucifer-san looks like he's pouting again, I'll go get him.
[While making sure to keep the present well out of sight as he goes upstairs, careful to keep a metaphorical eye out for cruel claws sinking into his ankles in case he's not met with a content purr and rub of invisible fur.]
Ah, Lucifer-san~ We can't do this without you~♥

Gift giving isn't really a thing we do.
[He looks distinctly uncomfortable now that it's come down to it, and he hasn't got the slightest idea why. It's been a long, long, long time since Lucifer gave any effort in a group project.]
Did you get it wrapped?
no subject
[Break yells in the mean time, disoriented, from the stairs.
It's rather more revealing than he'd like it to be if he were awake. He calls for him when he's tired or confused.]
